Description
Self-Leveling Grout (SLG)
High-Performance Anti-Wear Mortar for Industrial Flooring
Introduction
Self-Leveling Grout SLG is a cementitious mortar formulated with high-strength graded aggregates and special polymer additives, offering excellent resistance against abrasion, environmental, physical, and chemical damage. It is ideal for heavy-duty flooring in industrial settings, helping extend the lifespan of concrete floors while minimizing potential wear and damage.
Method of Use
Once the substrate (fresh concrete bed) is leveled and still damp, apply SLG as a topcoat layer.
Begin with manual troweling to level the surface, followed by mechanical polishing using a power trowel (butterfly trowel) for best results.
In wet climates, more time is needed to complete polishing; in dry/hot conditions, the process is faster.
Power-troweled concrete surfaces offer higher density and lower permeability than those finished manually.
Consumption & Application
Supplied as a dry powder, this product is mixed with clean water before use.
Apply as a 1–3 cm thick layer on fresh concrete surfaces using standard self-leveling techniques.
