Also, as a cement based adhesive for large tile applications, its formula is a blend of high-quality cement, granulated limestone, and specialized resins that ensure elevated adhesion and flexibility.

TSW is suitable for a wide range of applications, especially where a moisture-resistant tile adhesive is required. Let’s take a look:

Preparation and installation

For a 20 kg bag of TSW, mix 5 to 5.5 liters of water to create a consistent, lump-free mixture. Note that the water mixing ratio must be adjusted depending on the volume of product used. After mixing, the adhesive remains viable for up to 45 minutes when exposed to air.

Installation process:

• Surface preparation: Make sure that the substrate is clean, level, and free from any contaminants for maximizing the performance of this cement based adhesive for large tile applications.
• Mixing: Add the specified amount of water to the bag and mix thoroughly until a smooth consistency is achieved.
• Application: Apply the adhesive using a notched trowel, maintaining an even thickness of 5 mm for this thick bed adhesive for slabs to ensure a strong, uniform bond.
• Tile Placement: Carefully set the large format tile onto the adhesive, adjusting alignment within 20 minutes of application.
• Curing: Allow the adhesive to set in 14 hours at medium temperatures or 24 hours at cooler temperatures of 8 to 10°C for optimal bond strength.

Packaging and storage

Our TSW slab adhesive is available in 20 kg laminated paper bags, which can be stored in a dry place for up to 12 months from the production date. For large projects, the product is also offered in p.p bags and 1-1.5 ton jumbo bags. It is recommended to stack no more than eight bags.

Standards and compliance

This special adhesive complies with the European international standard EN12004 and is classified under Category C2TES1. It is rigorously tested according to EN1348, EN1346, and EN12002 standards, ensuring:

• Tensile adhesion strength: Exceeding 1 N/mm² under various conditions, including after heat aging at +70°C for 14 days, water immersion for 14 days, and 25 freeze-thaw cycles.
• Vertical slip and open times: Vertical slip remains below 0.5 mm, and open application times are maintained above 30 minutes
